App Features

Zoo and Animal Information

The App provides general information about zoos and animals for educational and entertainment purposes. This information is not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or up-to-date, and you should verify details with official sources when necessary.

AI-Generated Responses

The App allows you to ask zoology-related questions, and we provide responses generated by artificial intelligence ("AI"). These responses are intended for quick, informational purposes for curious zoo visitors and are not suitable for academic, professional, or other more serious purposes. AI-generated responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or, in rare cases, objectionable. We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or appropriateness of AI responses, and you request and use them at your own risk. Navigation

The App offers walking directions powered by Google's Directions Service API and a themed map showing zoo attractions and your approximate location. Walking directions and map data may not be available, accurate, or up-to-date. You are solely responsible for your navigation and safety while using these features. Always:

• Be aware of your surroundings.
• Follow posted signs, rules, and instructions.
• Use common sense and exercise caution when navigating. We are not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses resulting from your use of the directions or map features.

Shop

The App includes a shop where you can purchase products through a third-party print-on-demand service, printify.com. All transactions, shipping, and returns, are subject to the printify's terms of service. We are not responsible for the quality, delivery, or availability of products sold through the shop, though we will assist with reasonable inquiries if you contact us at info@zooguide.io.

Intellectual Property

The content on the App, such as text, design, and any original graphics or code we create, is owned by ZooGuide.io or used with permission from its owners. This content is protected by laws, including copyright, which apply to our original work. Some icons, images, or other materials on the App are provided by third parties and used by us under license or with their consent. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or modify any content from the App without our prior written permission, except for personal, non-commercial use as allowed by law.

Prohibited Conduct

By using the App, you agree not to:

• Post or transmit any content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality or security, including the map, directions, or shop features.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or manipulate the AI, map, or directions features.

Third-Party Services

The App integrates with third-party services, including Google's Directions Service API for walking directions and printify, a print-on-demand provider, for the shop. These services are subject to their respective terms and privacy policies, which you should review. We are not responsible for the performance, accuracy, or availability of third-party services.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the App's operation, availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of Liability

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ZooGuide.io, its affiliates, and its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or losses arising from your use of the App, violation of these Terms, or reliance on App features, including AI responses, directions, or shop purchases.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Prosper, Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state courts of Prosper Texas or federal courts of the United States.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the updated Terms on the App. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
